Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Atelier Runbook ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including those on a free trial or paid subscription.

2. Description of service

Atelier Runbook is a workroom management platform for independent fashion designers and ateliers. It provides tools for garment tracking, materials management, client measurement profiles, time logging, cost analysis, and collection organization. The Service is provided on a subscription basis following a free trial period.

3. Account registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

  • ·Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • ·All activity that occurs under your account.
  • ·Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at [email protected].

4. Free trial and subscriptions

Atelier Runbook offers a free trial period with full access to the platform. At the end of the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your subscription remains active and fully accessible through the end of your current billing cycle. You will not be charged again after that date. We do not offer refunds for any unused portion of a billing period.

5. Your data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Service — garments, clients, measurements, materials, and any other workroom records. We do not claim any rights to your data. You may export or delete your data at any time.

Data retention after subscription lapse. If your trial expires or your subscription is cancelled, your workroom is locked but your data is not deleted. We retain your data for 12 months from the date access lapses. If you resubscribe within that period, your studio will be exactly as you left it. After 12 months of inactivity, we will send a notice to your registered email address at least 30 days before any data deletion occurs.

Upon account deletion at your request, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • ·Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • ·Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • ·Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • ·Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

7. Intellectual property

The Atelier Runbook platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the exclusive property of Atelier Runbook and its creators. These terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atelier Runbook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the Service. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
