1. Who we are
Atelier Runbook ("we", "us", "our") is a workroom management platform built for independent fashion designers and ateliers. Our website is located at atelierrunbook.com. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform:
- ·Email address — when you create an account.
- ·Name and studio name — when you create an account or complete your profile.
- ·Workroom data — garments, accessories, fabrics, notions, measurement profiles, body measurements, time logs, and bill of materials entries that you create within the application.
- ·Usage data — pages visited, features used, and session duration, collected anonymously via our analytics provider.
- ·Communications — messages and support requests you send to us.
3. How we use your information
- ·To operate and improve the Atelier Runbook platform.
- ·To send you transactional emails — account notifications, email verification, and password resets.
- ·To respond to support requests and inquiries.
- ·We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure servers. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard security practices — including signed session cookies and cryptographically random intake link tokens — to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
5. AI features
Atelier Runbook uses AI to extract product information from fabric and notions retailer URLs. When you use the URL import feature, the product page content is sent to an AI service for analysis. This content is not stored beyond the immediate request and is not used to train AI models.
6. Cookies and analytics
Atelier Runbook uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ·Access the personal data we hold about you.
- ·Request correction of inaccurate data.
- ·Request deletion of your data.
- ·Withdraw consent for email communications at any time by unsubscribing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
8. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy policy:
- ·Resend — for transactional email delivery.
- ·Stripe — for payment processing (when billing is enabled). Stripe handles all payment data; we never store card details.
- ·Cloud infrastructure — database hosting and file storage providers process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements and do not have independent rights to use your data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
10. California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These include the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days as required by law.
